Louis Rosenthal is running for Newtown Township Supervisor to make a difference for the residents of our community.
Proven Leader
After putting himself through college, Louis worked his way up to the executive leadership level in commercial banking and is currently senior advisor with an investment banking firm. In his 40+ years in financial services, he has had global and domestic responsibilities in commercial lending and real estate finance, technology and operations, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raising activities. This has provided him with a foundation that is practical, financially sound and ethical.
Louis brings a fiscally responsible, practical, and resident-focused approach to finding solutions to the issues our Township will face in the future. He believes in open, honest dialogue, and will work on behalf of all the residents of Newtown Township; always listening to and, most importantly, respecting their opinions and feedback.
Public Servant
As a teenager, Louis began his commitment to community service as a volunteer with the American Red Cross. After the 9/11 attacks on our homeland, Louis co-founded ChicagoFIRST, a public-private sector partnership ensuring resilience of critical infrastructure, subsequently replicated in twenty U.S. cities. Today, Louis is the Vice Chairman of the Municipal Authority of Newtown Township, a volunteer with Newtown Square Fire Company, and a board member and the Treasurer of the Center for Neighborhood Technology, a national not-for-profit organization.
Family: Louis’ Source of Strength
Louis is a husband, father of two and grandfather of five, so he knows the importance of nurturing a community that is welcoming and safe. His approach is strategic, honest, and unbiased. He believes in listening and fully understanding the issues important to the Newtown Square community.
